Obiettivi formativi

In line with the teaching aims of Laurea Magistrale in Scienze Stategiche and Laurea Magistrale in Scienze Strategiche e Militari, the goal of the course is to make the students familiar with trends in modern conflicts looking both at different political scenarios, mainly the contrapposition between major powers, and at the evolution of warfare in light of modern technology and change in the political balance in the international system.

Risultati dell'apprendimento attesi

At the end of the course, students are expected to be confident with the following elements of modern conflitcs: a) knowledge and understanding of political dynamics in the international system that (may) lead to major wars; b) making judgements on evolution of modern warfare in terms of technology; c) applying this knowledge in strategic approaches.
